Benjamin Goldhirsh

Benjamin Goldhirsh is the co-founder and CEO of GOOD.

Active in both regional and international philanthropic endeavors, Goldhirsh is one of the directors of The Goldhirsh Foundation, which supports dynamic social programs, environmental initiatives, innovative medical research and leading cultural institutions.

Goldhirsh serves on the Board of Millennium Promise, an organization guided by the UN's Millennium Development goals to end extreme global poverty by 2025, as well as the Los Angeles Board of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship and the board of City Year Los Angeles.

A graduate of Brown University, Goldhirsh currently resides in Los Angeles.


Craig Shapiro

As President of GOOD, Craig Shapiro leads the company's efforts to scale its partnerships and member base. Prior to GOOD, Craig led content and acquisition efforts at the SK Telecom & Earthlink joint venture- Helio. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of the Mobile Marketing Association.

Before Helio, Craig was Vice President of Proteus Inc., a leading mobile technology developer. At Proteus, he was responsible for all new business development and revenue growth for the company which facilitated the successful sale of the company to Telitas Group in 2004. Craig received his B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis in Political Science and is originally from Chevy Chase, MD.


Casey Caplowe

Casey Caplowe is a co-founder of GOOD and currently works as the Creative Director and Product Lead. Since GOOD began, Casey has helped to build and shape the look, feel, and voice of the brand and all of its creations online, in print, video, and live events. GOOD’s products, under Casey’s direction, have been widely recognized and acclaimed, including several National Magazine Award Nominations in 2008 and 2009 and various Webby’s for videos in 2008 and 2009.

Casey also speaks widely on GOOD and with a specific focus on design and collaboration. Notable engagements in the past year include a Social Design Symposium in Tokyo, Influx Curated in San Francisco, and the TEDx in Sao Paulo.

Prior to GOOD, Casey worked on two concurrent start-up apparel ventures with his father. Prior to that, he graduated from Brown University.


Max Schorr

Max Schorr is co-founder and community director of GOOD.

As a co-founder, Max helped develop the editorial vision, business plan, and the innovative Choose GOOD Campaign, which raised over $1 million for partner non-profit organizations including: Ashoka, Kiva, NRDC, Slow Food, and Teach For America.

Recognized as a Next Generation Leader by The American Cancer Society, as part of The Japan Society's Innovators' Network, and as a Business and Society Fellow with the Aspen Institute, Max is a graduate of the College of Social Studies at Wesleyan University.


Zach Frechette

Zach Frechette is a co-founder and the editor in chief of GOOD.

Zach helped launch GOOD magazine, a winner of numerous national editorial and design awards and nominations from The American Society of Magazine Editors, Folio, the Society of Publication Designers, the Magazine Industry Newsletter, and more. He recently led the transition of GOOD from an editorially led magazine to a community-based web platform at the intersection of creativity and impact.
