Modern Movements Fellowship

Designing and facilitating a fellowship experience for today’s movement leaders.

What GOOD did

100Kin10 Co-founder and Executive Director, Talia Milgrom-Elcott partnered with GOOD to design and produce a transformative experience that she and other movement-builders rarely have - to gather under the same roof with an opportunity to build trust, reflect, strengthen practice, and imagine collaborative possibilities.

GOOD brought together 13 leaders from various social impact fields, ranging from healthcare and education to legal advocacy, in a humble effort to build a community of like hearts -- sharing the principles of social change and moving the world forward. Organizations include the Amplifier Foundation, Planned Parenthood, Nurse-Family Partnership,, ACLU, Organizing for Action, Parents Together, Clara Lionel Foundation, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Ashoka, 100Kin10, Make It Work Campaign, and Center for Care Innovations.

Through deliberate and creative experience design, we created space for a recuperative, restorative gathering, with the spirit of a dinner party and weekend with friends. Participants enjoyed chef cooked meals, thought provoking guests and shared housing in beautiful Venice, California.

Throughout our gathering, leaders learned from each other’s failures and successes, connected over shared purpose, and engaged in “challenge sessions” to help each person amplify their individual and organizational impact. As a result of the gathering, participants continue to meet and have identified ways to support each other and spark even greater impact - together.
