Visualizing nearly $1B in charitable giving on PayPal during the holiday season.

What GOOD did

Working directly with PayPal’s data team, GOOD designed and launched an interactive experience tracking the nearly $1B dollars given by more than 7 million PayPal users. 

We designed and created the first ever live Data Visualization devoted to tracking charitable giving through PayPal throughout the 2015 holiday giving season in coordination with their “Give Cheer” campaign. On an incredibly tight timeline (just over two weeks!), we built a beautiful interactive experience that showed how, where and what people around the world gave.

The final Holiday Giving Tracker was then promoted across GOOD’s channels, rallying our community to help set a World Record for charitable giving, both on a single day (Giving Tuesday), and throughout the month of December.
