Data for GOOD
Harnessing the power of imagination by putting data under the microscope.
What GOOD did
We created Data for GOOD, a hub dedicated to innovative ideas and the ways that data and information fuel our world, and filled it with informative and insightful content pieces. In 12 months’ time, we created 40 editorial pieces, 6 videos and 6 infographics to tell this narrative, and engaged more than 17.5 million people along the way. By asking the right questions, tackling relevant issues, and offering data-driven insight, we were able to demonstrate how statistics and research can empower us to challenge our understanding of ourselves and the way we navigate the world.
Our content series used a data lens to tackle topics from animal extinction, maps, and food waste to aggressive driving, student loan debt, and human reason. In our video series “The Big Road Fix,” we sent a team out to 4 major cities (LA, Seattle, NYC and Columbus) to explore the evolving culture of transportation in America and how good data, research and understanding can help improve the roads that connect us all.
