Building a movement to end joblessness and educate people about the jobs crisis.
What GOOD did
By partnering with the Opportunity Finance Network and the Create Jobs for the USA Fund, Starbucks sparked an enormous call-to-action that combined community development corporations, corporate donors and crowdfunding from individuals. The initiative was introduced with the sale of “Indivisible” wristbands in all 12,000 U.S. stores as well as the release of infographics to highlight campaign messages and stats. Wristbands were sold in U.S. stores and one hundred percent of the materials were from U.S. manufacturers. Create Jobs ensured customers understood how their $5 donation would create real jobs in communities across the country through unique storytelling and content.
GOOD advised on the strategy and execution of the Create Jobs initiative. GOOD developed three unique items for the campaign that donated from $2-5 of each sale, including the bracelet, “Indivisible Blend” beans, and “Visibly Indivisible” coffee tumbler.
- 750,000 "Indivisible" wristbands were sold
- 3,800 jobs created and retained in the U.S.
- 3 unique products developed to donate $2-5 from each sale to Opportunity Finance Network
