GOOD Takes On Social Media Week New York
February 28, 2017
Yesterday kicked off Social Media New York Week, a digital media conference that gathers some of the leading brands and minds in the mix of entertainment, media, marketing and technology. This year’s theme, “Language and the Machine,” will be explored through various panel discussions, presentations, workshops and even VR showcases and demonstrations. Each session will also be available online for registered attendees and subscribers through the SMW Insider platform.
GOOD is excited to have our very own digital director, Stacey Leasca representing us SMWNY. She made the journey from GOOD HQ in LA to NYC to host a panel discussion on Social Action In A Post-Trump World. The panel includes leaders from ACLU, Craft & Commerce, 350.org, Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project and GOOD. Panelists will share the realities of their organizations post Trump’s election, how they are reacting through social media, and give valuable insights into what other media publications can do to resist the current administration through content, social, and more.
You can catch more of GOOD’s response to the president-elect in our National Magazine Award-winning “OGOD” Issue. Inside you’ll find The GOOD Guide To Donald Trump, a guide to surviving and thriving during the next four years. Click to get your hard copy today!
