Big Wins For GOOD + Upworthy
May 9, 2017
We officially announced the GOOD and Upworthy merger in January, and since then, we've been pushing forward to unite our teams and realize our missions and values. Stay tuned as we share more with you in the coming weeks. For now, we are here with a couple big wins we’ve seen come our way!
Upworthy and the Robin Hood Foundation teamed up to share the story of Moawia, an Egyptian immigrant whose life changed forever once he learned how to code. His story is one that can inspire us all and just won a Webby Award for best film and video for corporate social responsibility.
GOOD and Upworthy were both recognized at the Shorty Awards this weekend. GOODFest took home the gold for best use of live-streaming video, and GoVoteBot received bronze for the use of call to action.
As we set out to unlock and amplify the power of human potential – for good, we are inspired by the true power of our new united force. #bettertogether
